illion recently had the honour of winning two categories at the Australian Business Awards: Employer of Choice and HR Management for 2018. This was an amazing acknowledgement of the team culture here at illion.
Since the Archer acquisition in 2015, illion’s workforce has grown by more than 30%, reflecting our commitment to investing in and retaining the best and brightest people. For me, one of the most exciting aspects of the new ownership was the rebrand from Dun & Bradstreet to illion. This presented a rare opportunity to directly engage with our workforce, listen to what was important to employees and use this input to develop brand new core values that drive our culture of engagement.
We know that in order to consistently deliver successful outcomes for our customers we need highly-skilled and engaged employees who are regularly recognised for their efforts. To that end, we introduced informal and formal reward and recognition programs across all areas of the business to ensure we keep highlighting people who raise the bar for our business. This requires direct feedback not just from leaders, but also among peers, with no constraints on who can be put forward for appreciation. The response, which has been fantastic, validates our approach to acknowledging team members who go above and beyond.
On a personal level, I was thrilled to see the People & Culture team’s hard work recognised by an external organisation. They have worked tirelessly, together with people across all areas of the business, to develop and promote a strong set of core values and strengthen the emotional contract our people have with us.
We are collectively motivated to become Australia’s leading data and analytics company, and as part of that goal we will continue recruiting individuals who embody our values of being bold, raising the bar, always being mindful of our responsibility as safe keepers of data, and clever enough to figure out smart ways to get sh*t done!
We’re always on the lookout for talented people to join our teams across Australia and New Zealand. If you’re looking for a new opportunity – whether it be your first role or the next step – we want to hear from you!
